I apologize
I know... I know.... I have been told that I am slacking. Well I have been busy. I have been busy with Brinlee, work, and my young womens calling. So I am really sorry and I hope you guys don't shun me from the blogging world. I was going to post new pictures but this stupid blogger won't let me. Oh yeah Brinlee has her EEG on Nov. 1st which they will have to sedate her to perform the test. I am a little nervous. Has anyone had to have that done? Let me know what to expect. I promise I will be better. Until next time!!!!

We have to sedate kids at work all the time. Sometimes they just give them an oral medicine and sometimes they do it through IV but I think it's better for the kid. They usually do fine and just wake up kinda groggy. She'll be fine. Good luck!
Oh my gosh I have been waiting for this. It is grat to hear from you. brinlee will do so good. The things that they have for kids now. Geez.
finally a post...well sort of. jk
im a sure brinlee will be fine, but i know i would be just as nervous as you. did you guys end up going to the halloween party? i hope brinlee is feeling better
I have had numerous EEG's because of my heart condition. Unless the procedure has changed in the past couple of years, it's just a bunch of stickers and wires stuck to the chest. Nothing that will hurt. They are probably sedating her just so she won't pull the wires off. She will be just fine!
I am anxious to hear what the results are. About 2 weeks after she had her seisure I had to take Spencer to the doctor for having one. Long story short, he is fine and no tests needed. I hope all is well with Brinlee!
Thanks guys, I know that she will be fine.
KJ- Isn't it so scary! Did they say that he will likely have more?
No, he woke up one morning and basically described to me that he had a seizure. I made him show me what it felt like. I asked if he could see (eyes rolled in back of his head) and he said no. I asked him a few more questions that I thought would relate to one, and then called the doctor.
They made us bring him in just to make sure he was OK. They basically decided that since he could describe it, remembered it, and wasn't completely exhausted after having it that it probably wasn't a full on seizure. It may have even been him just waking up from a dream state.
They said if I see one to bring him in and they will do an EEG. It was scary thinking that he might have had one, but I totally agreed with what the doctors said. Hopefully it doesn't happen again...or really happen at all!
Well I hope he doesn't have any more. I bet it scared him. At least he is to the age where he can tell you what is wrong.
