Here are my boys!

So on Monday March 29th I had a doctors appointment and they told me that Charlie was struggling inside of me and they were going to give me another week and then deliver me. So Tuesday March 30 I took Brinlee over to her Grandma Sorensen's to play. Cousin Eddie and Jarett made us lunch and we hung out for awhile. By the way I had not shower and was looking pretty nasty. I took Brinlee home to take a nap and we were laying in her bed she was just about to fall asleep and I started feeling really weird so I stood up. All the sudden my water broke and it came pouring out. I made it to her bathroom and started to panic because I was not ready and couldn't remember what to do. So my first call was my mom because I new Kenny was across town and she would be home. Oh yeah she was in Henderson at my brothers game along with my dad and my sister. So I called Kenny and he told me to call his mom. So thank goodness Roxie and Cindy were home. My water broke around 2:00pm. They came over with in a few minutes. Roxie took me to the hospital where Kenny met us. I was really nervous that maybe I had just peed my pants and that they would send me home and think I was crazy. However when I got there they hooked me up and told me that my water did break and that I was having contractions.

Oh I forgot to tell you that both my OB and my specialists were out of town for the whole week. So I knew that I would be delivered by my OB's partner. They had me scheduled to go into surgery as soon as possible. So as soon as my lovely doctor showed up they got me ready. To my surprise my specialists partner who I saw the day before for my regular appointment drove across town just to help deliver my boys. She told me she was worried about me and wanted to come be there. My OB's partner was awesome and I couldn't have asked to be in better hands.

As they took me into surgery I started panicking. The room freaked me out and then tons and tons of people started coming in. I think there were like twelve people in the OR. I was so glad when Kenny got to come in because I thought I was going to pass out. It seemed like it took forever, but it was really cool to see my boys for the first time. By the way I think a c-section is worse than regular birth.

Charlie Jacob came out first at 5:00pm 3lb 15oz his cord was half the size of his brothers and was wrapped around him 3 time. They think this is why he was so much smaller. They also said he probably would have died if I would have gone another week. This totally freaked me out and have realized how blessed we are to have him. He looks like a Sorensen for sure. He is actually doing really well. They say the smaller baby does better outside the womb because they struggled so bad inside. He is eating like a pig and is on track to come home maybe in the next week. He has already peed on my twice in diaper changes. He is a smiler and is very alert when we hold him.

Haden David was second at 5:02pm weighing 5lb 7oz. He also had his cord wrapped around him but was stealing everything from Charlie. We are not sure who he looks like. He is a little swollen from all the IV fluids. He is dong so much better and is now eating and is off of his oxygen. We are hoping he keeps doing well and maybe come home in a few weeks. He is a sweetheart and smiles when we rub his feet. He is going to be my good sleeper.

Brinlee has been such a trooper and has been so good. This kid has been tossed around and she just goes with the flow. She has been such a great help. She got to help feed Charlie tonight and just sat and played with fingers. She loves her brothers and prays for them every night.

We are so sad that they are not home with us but we are so happy that they are doing better and that they are here. Thanks for all the phone calls and texts. We really do appreciated everything. Pray for my boys.

The picture downloaded all screwy. The first picture is Charlie. Then Brinlee with Haden. Then Haden. The bottom couple are Charlie. Kenny is the only one who has held both boys together. I don't have as many of Haden because we didn't get to hold him until a few days ago.
